East Bay Alliance for a Sustainable Economy
East Bay Alliance for a Sustainable Economy reached out to Xareni Consulting after their strategic plan had phased out and was ready for a new way to advance their strategic thinking. The staff, board and partners all contributed to create their Vision, Purpose, Strategy and Structural Transformation Arcs, in which they clearly point to the changes they will work to bring to fruition. A long term labor of love that the organization will use for many years to come. Along the way they built out their leadership team, built their strategic muscle and integrated Forward Stance, Tai Chi, into the organization.
Dreams of Freedom
Transform OC
This poster is a culmination of joint visioning by the Transform OC learning community in the “Dreams of Freedom” session designed and conducted by Suguey Hernandez. This poster captures the Vision that this community holds for the place they are stewarding. They identify the fertile ground they stand on, their relationships, the hope they spread, their wishes, and the wishes of their ancestors, their dreams. Transform OC is a community of organizations coming together for the benefit of Orange County and all who call it home. The poster was designed and developed in partnership with artist Jio Im.

Undocufund
Xareni Consulting is proud to present the California UndocuFund Network with this year’s Changemakers award. This award is granted to change makers and visionaries that are doing groundbreaking work for long term transformational change.The UndocuFund Network deserves this $25,000 award as they create the network, develop its functions and prepare for when upending disaster strikes California and impacts the most vulnerable in our communities.

Central Coast Table Strategic Compass
Xareni Consulting had the honor of working with the members of the central coast table in the historic founding of this initiative. Together the four central coast organizations came together to give life to this effort to bring about civic change and power to their communities. As a central coast born and raised person Suguey jumped at the opportunity to help them develop their Vision, Purpose and Winning Strategy. The table is now in its pilot year of work with diverse funding resources.

Oakland Rising in a moment of re-prioritizing worked with Suguey to become clear with collaborative partners of their purpose and strategy. Together through virtual and in person retreats they developed the tables purpose, values, collaborative priorities, issue focuses and a strategy screen which they use to make decisions as a table.

Transform OC Learning Community
OC Action
This video is a sneak peak into day long convenings curated by partner consultants Suguey Hernandez, Elizabeth Sunwoo, Mari Ryono and Chrysta Wilson. The OC Action learning community strengthens practices to move in alignment and deepen relationships with each other to realize a shared vision and strategy for Orange County. They have been in practice together for three years now and advance what it means to be in an interdependent community while working for the dreams they have for their community.

Warehouse Workers Resource Center
After a year long process of collaborative work with staff, the leadership team and the Organization’s board the Warehouse Workers Resource Center developed a renewed Vision to guide their work and after a year of strategic inquiry they revamped the organization’s Mission and Strategy to match the changing conditions and needs in their community.

OC Action Long Term Campaign Development
OC Action
The OC Action Staff Team, along with their partners and board developed their “Next Big Fight.” This deck demonstrates their process and items developed to help them along their path. Xareni Consulting partnered with Mundullae Consulting on this project. Along the way OC Action developed their team, created alignment and all collaborative partners contributed to the building of this campaign. OC Action is in its implementation stage and receiving continued coaching by Suguey Hernandez.
